Overview

The APC Magnetic Clip is a promotional item distributed by APC by Schneider Electric at trade shows and industry events during the early 2010s.

Physical Description

The clip consists of a translucent green plastic body with a black spring-loaded clamping mechanism.

The front of the clip bears the APC by Schneider Electric logo. The translucent housing allows the internal spring mechanism to be partially visible.

A circular magnet is incorporated into the rear of the housing, allowing attachment to metallic surfaces such as equipment racks, computer enclosures, filing cabinets, and appliances.

The clip utilizes a metal torsion spring and metal pivot shaft to provide clamping force.

The documented example measures approximately 2 1/2 inches in width by about 1 3/4 inches wide.
