== Archive Observations ==

The 1999 feature chart demonstrates that Opti-UPS marketed products ranging from small desktop-computer UPS systems to server-oriented units. The smallest documented model, the 280E, was recommended for use with a personal computer and 15-inch CRT monitor, while the largest documented model, the 1400E, was intended to support multiple PCs or file servers.

The product line emphasized line-interactive operation, automatic voltage regulation, data-line protection, communications software, and a $25,000 connected-equipment protection policy. Similar claims appeared in contemporary Opti-UPS advertising published in PC Magazine during the mid-1990s.
