== Documented Example ==

* OldSurge ID: OS-0021
* Serial Number: Z99080215662
* Manufacturing Year: 1999

== Specifications ==

* Length: Approximately 10.25 in (26.0 cm)
* Width: Approximately 4.25 in (10.8 cm)
* Height: Approximately 1.75 in (4.4 cm)
* Power Cord Length: Approximately 6 ft (1.8 m)

== Notable Characteristics ==

* Manufactured in 1999.
* Includes a suppression board carrying a ©1997 copyright notice.
* Earliest documented APC PRO7 example incorporating internal molded date-code wheels.
* Date-code wheels confirm August 1999 manufacture.
* Manufactured during the period covered by the APC SurgeArrest Recall (2013).
* APC-branded right-angle attachment plug.
* Moderate cosmetic wear and scratching around the logo area and enclosure surfaces.
* Remained operational during testing.

== Physical Characteristics ==

The documented example exhibits moderate cosmetic wear, including scratches, scuffs, and abrasions on the upper enclosure surrounding the APC branding.

The overall housing design remains substantially similar to the 1998 and 2002 APC PRO7 examples documented by the OldSurge Archive, indicating continuity in APC's mechanical design during this period.

The documented example utilizes an APC-branded right-angle grounded attachment plug and an attached six-foot power cord.

The underside incorporates two keyhole-style mounting slots, a recessed serial-number label, molded electrical ratings, safety markings, and certification information.

A molded "9934" marking is present on the underside of the enclosure. The marking likely represents a 1999 week-34 manufacturing code, corresponding approximately to late August 1999.

This interpretation is consistent with the serial number, which identifies the documented example as an August 1999 production unit.
